Terms of Use — Frostie: Milk Stash Tracker
1. Agreement
By using Frostie: Milk Stash Tracker ("Frostie", the "App") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live). If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it governs, it prevails.
2. Medical disclaimer — please read
The App shows these statements, and they are part of these Terms:
Frostie records what you enter. It isn't medical advice.
Numbers you logged. Not medical advice. Talk to your doctor or lactation consultant with any concerns.
Next to milk storage times:
Fridge guideline · Based on CDC guidance. Check with your care provider.
(The first word names the storage place: fridge, freezer and so on.)
In addition:
- The App is a record-keeping and reminder tool, not a medical device. It does not assess your milk supply, your health or your baby's health.
- Milk storage times are general guidance and you can change them. The App cannot know how your milk was handled, the temperature of your fridge or freezer, or your baby's medical needs (for example prematurity). Always follow your care provider's advice; if in doubt, throw it out.
- Reminders are local notifications and may be delayed or not shown (for example if notifications are turned off, the phone is in a power-saving mode, or the App was not opened for a long time). Do not rely on them alone for feeding or storage decisions.
- If you have concerns about your supply, pain, or your baby's feeding, contact your doctor, midwife or lactation consultant. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows), resell or redistribute the App.
4. Your data
Your log stays on your device and is not backed up by us or by your phone's cloud backup. Export a CSV if you want a copy. We cannot recover lost data.
5. Price
The App is currently free and has no in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced, they will be sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their payment, renewal, cancellation and refund rules, the price will be shown before you buy, and we will update these Terms first.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timely delivery of reminders, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for loss of data or of stored milk, or for decisions made on the basis of the App or its reminders. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App. Sections 2, 6, 7 and 9 survive.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you keep those protections and may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved by email.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date and, for material changes, show a notice in the App.
