Terms of Use — Pipou: Baby Tracker

Effective date: 7 October 2026
Provider ("we", "us"): Tung Tran Thanh, an individual developer based in Hanoi, Vietnam · sendtoichime@gmail.com

1. Agreement and eligibility

By using Pipou: Baby Tracker ("Pipou", the "App") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older, and you must be the parent or legal guardian of the baby you log, or have their permission. At setup the App asks you to confirm:

By starting you confirm you are this baby's parent or guardian.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it governs, it prevails.

2. Medical disclaimer — please read

The App shows this on its welcome page and in Settings › About:

This app is a log kept by parents. It is not a diagnosis and not medical advice. If you have any doubts about your baby's feeding, sleep, diapers or health, ask your pediatrician, midwife or nurse. If your baby seems unwell, call your pediatrician; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

In addition:

3. Family sharing

4. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial use. You must not misuse Family sharing (for example by trying to guess invite codes or access other families' data), copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows), resell or redistribute the App.

5. Price

The App is currently free and has no in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced, they will be sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their payment, renewal, cancellation and refund rules, the price will be shown before you buy, and we will update these Terms first.

6. Availability

Family sharing depends on internet access and on third-party infrastructure (Google Firebase). We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. The App keeps working on your phone without a connection.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for loss of data, or for decisions about your baby's care made on the basis of the App. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend Family sharing for anyone who misuses it, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice; we will tell you how to keep a copy of your data before shared data is deleted. Sections 2, 7, 8 and 10 survive.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you keep those protections and may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved by email.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date and, for material changes, show a notice in the App.
